SSC regional offices: find the region for your state

SSC runs its exams through nine regional and sub-regional offices. Your exam centre choices, and often your grievance contact, depend on which region your state belongs to.

Regions have no separate logins. Every candidate uses the SSC login on ssc.gov.in.

SSC regions and the states they cover

This table follows the regional jurisdictions printed in the “centres of examination” section of SSC exam notices.

Do regions have separate logins?

No. Registration, applications, slot selection, admit cards, answer keys and marks are all handled through the central login on ssc.gov.in. Older guides that send you to a regional website for an admit card often describe the process before SSC centralised it. If a regional site asks for your SSC password, close it and use ssc.gov.in.

When your region matters

  • Choosing exam centres. Applications usually let you pick centres in order of priority within one region.
  • Region-specific notices about centres, rescheduled shifts or later stages.
  • Grievances about the exam held in that region, where the notice directs you to the regional office.

SSC login for Rajasthan candidates

Rajasthan falls under SSC's Northern Region, headquartered in New Delhi, together with Delhi and Uttarakhand. Rajasthan candidates log in on ssc.gov.in like everyone else; the region matters mainly for exam centres in the state and regional notices.

Don't confuse SSC with the Rajasthan state recruitment bodies, which run their own recruitment portals for state government jobs.

SSC KKR (Karnataka Kerala Region)

“SSC KKR login” searches usually come from Karnataka and Kerala candidates. The KKR office in Bengaluru covers Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Login and admit cards are still on ssc.gov.in.

Contacting a regional office

Use the contact details published on ssc.gov.in or printed in your exam notice — phone numbers and emails on third-party sites are often outdated. Have your Registration Number, roll number and exam name ready, and never share your password.
